23 Things was very helpful and interesting.
I thoroughly enjoyed 23 Things because it introduced me new possibilities which I didn't know existed. The explanations and links to tutorials were plentiful and enough to gradually let me make my way through each "Thing." I would have benefited from about a half hour session of class on each topic but couldn't make the times to come to the library. In spite of this, I have a basis from which to explore each "Thing" in the future and decide what application it has for my work or research. The pace of the program was just right. I would welcome more programs such as these where I could get a taste of technologies that are available and then choose to delve further into the ones that would be most relevant. Thank you for your effort in making this course available. Please notify me if you offer other classes "online."
Rollyo
This is the link to my rollyo on Alternative Medicine.
I'm skeptical about my use of rollyo, but I do inquire frequently about alternative medicines and holistic medicines, so it is conceivable that I will use this tool in the future.
I see an application for setting rollyos for children doing research on a certain let"s say historical topic. Searching the good sites first and then using only those to do the research. Perhaps for elementary students.

Net Library....Finally
I became a member of Net Library before this course began, but through this, I have learned how to download Media Center and so am enjoying the ease of downloading eaudiobooks. The collection is extensive and quite enjoyable. Thanks, Ephrata Library for making Net Library available!

You Tube.....Mixed Feelings
I love animals and their personalities and thus choose the Cat Video. In general, You Tube is much too "in your face" for my taste. OK for some purposes but generally, just too public.
Podcasts Rule!
I've only recently discovered podcasts and am thrilled to subscribe to various topics from news to meditation to English grammar. I find them informative and relaxing when I don't want to spend lots of time listening. From this exercise, I realized that there is a whole world of podcasts beyond the ones I get via itunes and on subjects that would be of more interest. The ability to listen to them as it fits into my day and the exposure to ongoing current information is enjoyable.
